This is our beloved “Sadie” when she was just a pup. She was 12 years
old when she passed away. We love and miss you so much! Love Debbie

When God Made....
When God had made the Earth and sky, The flowers and the trees,
He then made all the animals And all the birds and bees.
And when his work was finished, Not one was quite the same.
He said, 'I'll walk this earth of mine, And give each one a name,'
And so he travelled land and sea, And everywhere he went,
A little creature followed Him Until his strength was spent.
And when all were named upon the Earth, And in the sky and sea,
The little creature said,'Dear Lord, There's not one left for me!'
The Father smiled and softly said: 'I've left you till the end.
I've turned my own name back to front, And called you DOG, my friend.
They will not go quietly, the dogs who have shared our lives. In subtle
ways they let us know their spirit still survives.
Old habits still make us think we hear them at the door. Or step back when
we drop a tasty morsel on the floor.
Our feet still go around the place the food dish used to be, And sometimes,
coming home at night we miss them terribly.
And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That
one place in our hearts belongs to them...and always will.
Pharlap, we are going to miss you bad! Bree & Ruffian look for
you all over the house. I am so glad I have pictures of you and
Bree playing, sleeping together. Bree walking you on a leash.
Although I know you were letting her think she was walking
you on the leash. My Love Forever, Mom, Dad, Brianna,
Grandpa, Grandma, Ruffian, Christopher, and Diana.

Sadie was our beloved girl and "first born child." Everyone who
knew her adored her. We miss her terribly, especially all of her
comical ways. She loved to watch t.v., particularly anything with
dogs and horses. She always nudged her rawhide bones under
furniture and blankets, and then would struggle to dig them
out. We have a destroyed couch to show for her efforts. She
hated when her "pack" wasn't complete. If one of us was out of
town, she'd wait on the landing of the stairs, looking patiently at
the door, until the pack was whole again.
When she was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in the
spring of 2008, we hoped for the best. Unfortunately, we only
had her in our lives for nine months after the diagnosis. She
took her seven pills a day like a trooper and enjoyed a very
good quality of life, right up until the end.
We miss you, Pup. Not a day goes by that we don't think about
you, talk about you, and wonder what you're doing in doggy
heaven. We're guessing that you're forever chasing tennis
balls and eating all the junk food that we denied you in life. That
awful day when we had to say goodbye is far outweighed by all
of the fun, silliness and love that you brought to our lives for
over 11 years. Thanks for being our "bestest girl." Love, Mom,
Dad, Jonathan, Nicole and Kitty
